Kamphaeng Phet province is an old town of Historical significance. Located in the lower north of Thailand, formerly known as “Chakungrao City”, with an important Archaeological site and Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park. Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park consists of city walls, moats, fortifications and ancient temples such as Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Chang Rob, Wat Phra Si Iriyabot that is still beautiful with outstanding laterite architecture until was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For natural attractions in Kamphaeng Phet province, it is equally interesting both Khlong Lan national park and the summit of Mokju in Mae Wong National Park, which is covered with fog during the winter. Tourists will come to visit the Nakorn Chum retro market to buy Local products in the midst of the atmosphere of the merchants dressed in Thai clothes. The famous products of Kamphaeng Phet are bananas and Chakungrao grass jelly
